so we do this informal monthly meetup with like 8 or 9 people from our local club and yesterday was kind of a mess. wind picked up way faster than any of us expected and two guys just kept flying anyway even though it was getting pretty sketchy. one of them clipped a tree on landing and snapped a prop, nothing serious but still. the whole vibe got a bit tense after that because some of us wanted to call it and pack up but a couple people kept going

not really sure what the point of this post is, just felt like venting i guess. do other groups deal with this? like when do you actually tell people okay we should stop

yeah this happens. our group has the same thing every now and then, some guys just dont want to stop especially if they drove a long way. we kind of have an unwritten rule now that if more than half want to ground it we ground it but honestly it still causes drama sometimes

broken prop isnt the end of the world but i get why it killed the mood. wind limits are hard to agree on because everybodys flying different stuff, like my whoop handles way differently in wind than my buddy's 5 inch. no easy answer really
