so i was talking to someone at the field last weekend and it got me wondering what everyone here actually does when theyre not flying. feels like theres a pretty weird mix of people in this hobby. im a nurse which surprises people for some reason. anyway just curious, dont need life stories just figured itd be a fun thread for a tuesday

electrican here, been doing it 22 years. the wiring and signal stuff in drones actually makes a lot of sense to me which is probably why i got into building my own instead of just buying ready to fly stuff. its nice having a hobby thats kind of related but also totally different yknow

teacher lol. middle school. kids think its the coolest thing ever when i mention it and then i have to spend 20 minutes explaining why i cant just bring one to class
