ok so i know its probably nothing special to most of you guys but i just got my avata 2 a few weeks ago and yesterday i actually stopped just flying around like an idiot and tried to take an actual photo. found this old barn out in a field and did a top down shot, like straight down from maybe 80 feet or so.

the symmetry of the roof and the way the shadows were falling just looked really cool on the screen. i havent posted photos much but thought id share here and see if anyone has tips on composition because im totally winging it right now. does anyone actually plan shots out beforehand or just find stuff as you fly

top down barn shots are a classic for a reason lol. good eye catching that one. honestly most of my best stuff is found while flying, i rarely plan specific compositions ahead of time. you kind of just develop a sense for it the more you fly

the avata 2 isnt really what most people would pick for photography since its more of an fpv thing but if the shot looks good it looks good. one thing i do is check google maps satellite view before i go somewhere just to get a rough idea of whats down there and how itll look from above. saves alot of just hovering around trying to find something interesting
