anyone else just fly for no reason at all

not trying to get footage, not doing any kind of mapping or inspection stuff, not making content. i just go out to a field near my house like twice a week and fly around for 20-30 minutes and then go home. no plan, no mission, nothing. my friend thinks its weird that i dont try to film anything but honestly i find it more relaxing that way, no pressure to get a good shot or whatever.

idk maybe im missing the point of having a camera drone but it genuinely just feels like a nice way to decompress after work. anyone else do this or am i just doing it wrong

youre not doing it wrong thats literally how i started and still do it most of the time. the camera stuff came later for me and honestly its more stressful. sometimes i miss just flying around with zero expectations

wait this is actually making me feel better because i do the exact same thing with my fpv and felt kinda dumb about it since everyone online seems to be doing race training or freestyle progression plans and im just... flying around a parking lot vibing. glad im not alone in this lol
