ok so i can fly around fine and i'm comfortable in acro mode, been doing it for a few months now. i want to start actually learning freestyle tricks but i have no idea where to start. ive seen people say master splits first, others say do rolls and flips until they're clean, one guy on youtube said go straight to trying power loops which seems insane to me. i just don't want to build bad habits early on. flying a 3inch right now mostly in a big open field so i have room to mess up

rolls and flips honestly, boring answer but if your rolls arnt clean everything else is gonna look sloppy too. like a power loop is basically just commiting to a flip at the right moment so if your flip inputs are inconsistent you'll never get the loop dialed. spend like a whole session just doing rolls at different speeds and making sure the exit is clean every time

splits were the first thing that actually made me feel like i was freestyling and not just doing gymnastics in the air lol. but yeah probably do clean flips and rolls first, then splits, then you can start combining stuff. power loops are way easier than they look once your muscle memory is there for the flip motion. just dont rush it
