saw a post on facebook that theres a group flight happening at rockwood park saturday morning, around 9am i think. not sure if its an official club thing or just some people getting together. ive never been to one of these before and dont really know what to expect, do people just show up and fly or is there like an organized thing that happens

those things are usually pretty casual, at least the ones ive been to. people just show up, set up their gear, chat a bit and then everyone kind of does their own thing. sometimes theres a more experienced guy who runs a little demo or something but mostly its just hanging out and flying. bring snacks lol the morning ones always run longer than you think

went to one last spring and honestly wasnt sure what i was getting into either but it was great. met a few guys who actually helped me sort out a config issue i'd been stuck on for weeks. way better than trying to figure stuff out from youtube. just go
