so we had this thing going for almost a year, maybe 15 or so regulars showing up to fly together on sunday mornings, it was honestly one of my favorite things. then a few people had a falling out over where we were allowed to fly and who was supposed to be handling the waivers and stuff and now half the group stopped coming. last sunday it was just me and one other guy.

not really sure what im asking here, maybe just venting. but has anyone else had their local group kind of implode like this? did it ever get back to normal or do you just have to basically start over

yeah this happend to our group too. airspace drama + one guy who kept flying too close to everyone else and it just created this whole thing. took about 6 months but a few of us basically just started fresh with a different name and kept it more low key. smaller is sometimes better anyway

the waiver stuff always causes problems. nobody wants to deal with the paperwork but then everyone has opinions about how its being handled. sorry man that sucks, those consistent weekend groups are hard to build
