so its been like 3 weekends in a row where ive driven out to my usual spot and the wind is just way too much to even bother. today it was gusting to like 28mph and i just sat in my car for 20 minutes like an idiot before giving up and going home. what do you all do on days like this, do you just wait it out or find something else to do entirely

honestly i use those days to catch up on editing footage i already have lol. got like 6 months of clips sitting on a hard drive that i never touched. also sometimes i just go on here and read old threads, theres some good stuff buried in this forum if you dig around enough

28mph isnt even that bad depending on your bird tbh. but yeah i get it, not worth the stress. i usually just watch youtube videos about places i want to fly eventually. or sleep. mostly sleep.
