was just thinking about this while i was at work today. im a civil engineer and i honestly feel like it crosses over more than i expected, like i catch myself looking at construction sites and thinking about sightlines and airspace in a way i never did before i got into drones. curious if anyone elses job bleeds into this stuff or if most people here are just doing it as a pure escape from work

im a photographer so its basically the same thing for me which is why i got into it in the first place. sometimes feels like i brought work home with me but i dont really mind. the aerial angle is just totally different from anything i do on the ground so it still feels fresh

lol no i work in insurance which has absolutely zero connection to any of this. thats kind of why i love it honestly. the second i land the thing and start flying i stop thinking about claims and spreadshets entirely. complete brain reset.
