random thought - do any of you actually use the cases your drones come with

so i was cleaning out my garage and found like three of those foam insert cases that came with various quads over the years and honestly i dont think ive opened a single one since the day i unboxed. i always end up just throwing everything in a backpack or a pelican knockoff i got from amazon. feels like such a waste but also the stock cases are always weirdly shaped and only fit the exact configuration you bought it in, useless if you swap any parts

anyone actually use theirs or am i the only one who just lets them collect dust

nope same boat. the one that came with my mini 3 is sitting on a shelf looking nice i guess. my actual carry setup is just a lowepro backpack with some foam i cut myself, fits way more and i can acess everything without pulling the whole thing apart

i actually do use mine but only because i store everything long term in them, like when i know im not flying for a few weeks. for actually going out to a spot tho yeah a bag is way more practical. the stock cases feel like theyre designed for a photoshoot not real use
