ok so i can fly around fine and im comfortable in angle mode and ive been messing around in acro for a few weeks on the sim. i can do a basic flip but it looks like garbage and i always drift way off to one side. someone told me to just start with rolls and worry about everything else later but idk if thats the right approach. whats everyone think is the best starting point for actually getting clean at tricks, like is there a progression that makes sense or did you all just kind of figure it out randomly

rolls first 100%. get your left and right rolls super clean and snappy before anything else, because almost every other trick builds off that muscle memory somehow. flips are tempting because they feel more dramatic but if your rolls are sloppy youll struggle with everything down the line. also just fly the sim way more than you think you need to

honestly i just threw myself at whatever looked cool on youtube and learned things in a totally random order and im fine so i wouldnt stress too much about a perfect progression. the drift issue on flips is probaly just you not being centered on the sticks before you initiate, super common thing when youre starting out
