finally got some decent coastal footage, would love some eyes on it

so i took the mini 4 pro out to the coast last weekend, conditions were actually pretty good for once, maybe 8mph wind and golden hour was cooperating. got a few clips i'm pretty happy with but not sure if the color grading is too heavy or if it looks natural. been messing with d-log m to rec709 conversion in resolve and im not fully confident im doing it right yet.

anyway if anyone wants to take a look i can share the youtube link, just want honest feedback not just 'looks great man' type stuff. specifically wondering about the horizon in one shot where i did a slow pull back reveal, feels slightly tilted to me but my eyes might just be tired from staring at it too long

yeah post the link, happy to look at it. the horizon thing is probably real if you're noticing it, our brains are actually pretty good at picking that up even when were second guessing ourselves. you can fix it in post obviously but worth checking your horizon lock settings too if you havent already. also with the d-log conversion, what lut are you using? the built in ones in resolve are fine but i switched to a custom one a while back and the skintones and water tones both got way better

drop the link, coastal stuff is always fun to look at. i tried shooting at the beach once and got sand in my bag so im basically traumatized and just live vicariously through other peoples footage now lol
