my mavic keeps losing connection for like half a second then reconnects, happens every few minutes

this has been driving me nuts for a while now. flying along fine and then the feed just drops for maybe half a second and comes back, no big deal except it keeps happening and im always in the back of my mind waiting for it to not reconnect one of these times.

its not always at the same distance, sometimes happens pretty close, sometimes further out. tried different locations thinking it was interference but same thing. im using the RC-N1 controller if that matters. havent updated firmware in a while actually now that i think about it

update the firmware first, seriously, i had something almost identical and it just went away after an update. also check if youre flying near any cell towers or crowded wifi areas ? the RC-N1 uses your phone and all those background apps dont help. turning on airplane mode and only enabling wifi can make a difference too.

also worth checking the cable between your phone and the controller if you havent already, a slightly loose connection can cause exactly that kind of brief dropout

had this same thing on my mavic 3. turned out it was my phone overheating slightly and throttling the connection. started happening more in summer. slapped a little clip-on fan on my controller and it basically stopped. sounds dumb but worth trying if the firmware thing doesnt fix it
