so ive been seeing posts about a group flight thing happening at riverside park saturday morning and i cant find any solid info on it. someone in my local fb group mentioned it but the post had like no details. is it an official MAAC sanctioned thing or just a casual meetup? i just got my mini 4 pro a few months ago and honestly kinda nervous to fly around other people for the first time but figured it would be cool to meet some folks who actually know what theyre doing

yeah i saw that too, i think its just a casual thing not official. Dave from the club usually organizes these and its pretty chill, no pressure to do anything fancy. i showed up to my first one last spring not knowing anyone and left with like three new flying buddies. just come early and introduce yourself, most guys there love talking shop

dont stress about flying around others, everyone starts somewhere. just keep your distance from the other birds and youll be fine. the mini 4 is a solid choice for that kind of open area anyway
