Autel EVO Lite 3 apparently announced? anyone know more

  • Members

stumbled across what looked like leaked specs or maybe an early press release for an Autel EVO Lite 3 earlier this week. i know Autel has been kind of quiet lately, at least compared to DJI dropping stuff every five minutes, so this caught my attention. the specs seemed interesting but i dont know if the source was legit or just someone putting together wishful thinking and calling it a leak.

if it does exist and hits somewhere around the $800-900 range it could actually be worth looking at for people who dont want to deal with the whole DJI ecosystem thing. im not a DJI hater or anything i have a mini 3 pro that ive been happy with but a little competition would be nice for all of us. anyone else see anything about this or know if Autel has made any actual announcements recently

havent heard anything concrete on a Lite 3 specifically but Autel did quietly update their website a couple weeks back which got some people talking. could be nothing, could be something. they tend to not do big flashy announcements the way DJI does so sometimes stuff just kind of appears on their store page with minimal fanfare.

honestly i think Autel makes solid hardware but their app has always been the weak link for me. if they actually polished that up alongside a new release i'd be a lot more interested. the EVO Nano+ i tried last year was genuinely good for the size but the software felt about two years behind in terms of features and reliability

competition is always good but i'll believe it when i see it on a real product page with actual pricing. too many "leaked" drone specs turn out to be completely wrong or just never materialize. happened with a couple skydio rumors a while back too
