so ive had my mavic sitting in the bag for like 3 weeks now because every time i plan to go out its either raining or gusting like 25mph. starting to get a little stir crazy honestly. curious what other people do to scratch the itch when the weather just isnt cooperating. i end up watching old footage and tweaking my color grading in resolve which is fine i guess but its not the same. anyone else just say screw it and fly in conditions they probably shouldnt

yeah i definitely fly in conditions i shouldnt lol. honestly anything under like 30mph gusts i still go out, just stay lower and away from trees. lost a prop once flying in wind that was probably too strong but thats it. mostly i just go out and do simulator stuff on my laptop when its bad, been using liftoff for the fpv side of things and its actually pretty decent for keeping your sticks sharp.

I usually just clean everything, check for loose screws, update firmware if theres anything pending. basically just fuss over the gear until i feel like ive done something productive. its boring but at least i feel prepared when conditions finally clear up. also been doing a lot of google earth scouting for new spots which is actually kind of addicting
