ok so this just happened and im still kinda annoyed about it. flew into bali last week and customs pulled me aside because of my lipo batteries. i had three intellignet flight batteries for my air 3 all in my carry on like youre supposed to do, clearly labeled everything, had the wh ratings written on them. didnt matter. the guy just kept saying they needed special permission and took two of them. let me keep one for some reason??
i did my research before flying i swear. everything i read said carry on is fine under 100wh per battery which mine are like 90something wh each. but apparently indonesia has its own thing going on and i didnt dig deep enough into that specifically. flew fine on the way out from the US but the indonesian side was a different story. just wanted to warn people because i didnt see this mentioned much when i was looking stuff up
