yeah so this has been sitting in my drafts for like two months and i finally just hit publish last week on a short video i put together from a camping trip. its mostly forest and river stuff, few low passes through the trees which took me a bunch of tries to get right without panicking and pulling back.

the feedback has been whatever, most people just say nice or cool but my brother watched it and pointed out there was a whole section where the horizon was tilted and i never noticed it through the whole edit process. like how did i miss that. now i cant unsee it every time i watch it.

anyway just wondering if anyone else has that experience where you post something and then immediately see all the stuff wrong with it. also if anyone wants to watch it and give actual feedback ill drop the link, not looking for likes or anything just honest opinions on the flying and the edit

the horizon thing happens to me constantly, i think when youve watched the same clip 50 times your brain just fills in what it expects to see. i started checking horizon levels as like the first thing i do now before i even think about color or cuts. drop the link though id watch it

honestly posting it is the hard part most people never even do that so dont be too hard on yourself. tilted horizon is fixable in post if you ever want to do a v2, most editors have a rotation tool that takes like 10 seconds. the low passes through trees sound sick tho, thats the kind of flying that actually looks good on camera
